The lady at the South Bank Open Spaces gave me some broad bean seeds. So my daughter and I sowed them the other day.
I didn’t know that broad beans seeds are sowed in late autumn. Here are some info on how to grow broad beans on RHS website.
Broad bean sowing is such a great kids gardening activity in winter. The seeds are nice and big. My daughter enjoyed playing with the beans before she sowed them.
The seeds will grow in my Bokashi composted raised bed so I am looking forward to see how well they will grow. I will be posting on the progress on the plants in the coming months!
